There is an article in the iSeries magazine (Jan 2002) that describes using JDBC DataSource objects instead of the "normal" JDBC connections using the DataManager class. These DataSource objects allow you to set a library list for the connection. They are apparently faster than "traditional" JDBC connections also. The article starts on page 57 and I'm going to look into the DataSource objects for JDBC connections.
