I've had a nose around the CVS website (www.cvshome.org) and it seems to me to be a very Unix/Linux oriented tool. In particular, it seems fairly dismissive of running CVS using an NT server (clients are OK). Unfortunately, my environment, like many AS/400 & iSeries shops, consists of Windows desktops connected to the 400. Not a Unix box in sight. Has anyone out there had any good/bad experience running CVS on NT? Alternatively, has anyone tried to run the AIX version on their iSeries, and if so how. Chris.
