When you call AS400Servlet.setUseConnectionPool(true), the system creates an AS400ConnectionPool. You can get this pool by calling AS400Servlet.getConnectionPool(). Once you have the connection pool, you can call any of the methods on the pool. See the AS400ConnectionPool class and its superclass ConnectionPool. Both classes are in the com.ibm.as400.access package. You'll find methods there like setMaxConnections, setCleanupInterval and stuff like that. I'm not sure what you mean by changing the IP address. The connections are kept in the pool and the IP address (or system name) is an attribute of a connection, not of the pool. A pool can hold connections to multiple AS/400s. However, once you retrieve an object from the pool, you really shouldn't change the system name or user id. Not sure if this answered your question but I hope it helps.
