RE: WebFacing EXTREEMLY slow - update

Jim,

I have seen similar problems with Ant. In most cases the extra
compiles are caused when the directory structure does not
accurately reflect the package structure.

I also wonder if Jikes would help. It is a lot faster on my NT
box than the tools javac class. I tried to build it on my iSeries
but after a couple of hours I decided not to worry about it.
