Could be a Toolbox bug. Please re-post this problem (with any additional info you may have, like a small complete testcase) to the Toolbox forum at http://www-912.ibm.com/j_dir/JTOpen.nsf/By+Category?OpenView. Toolbox prior to the next release of JTOpen has some problems with scrollable cursor placement. The next release of JTOpen is much better but not quite ready to release yet. David Wall AS/400 Toolbox for Java "Bruce Jin" <JIN007M@hotmail. To: <java400-l@midrange.com> com> cc: Sent by: Subject: ResultSet.relative(negtiveNumber) not working in toolbox jdbc java400-l-admin@m driver? idrange.com 01/14/2002 03:56 PM Please respond to java400-l When I am at row 4, I use boolean b = ResultSet.relative(-5) to position the pointer to before the first record This does not work if I use toolbox driver com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver to access AS400 file. The pointer is at a randomly selected row and value b is returned as "true". However the exactly same code works if I use driver COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver to access local DB2 file. Is there a bug in toolbox driver? Thanks.
