Glenn, When I read your post it occurred to me that VAJ has a totally different meaning for repository than other products. I have worked quite a bit with NetBeans and CVS, and what they refer to as a repository supplies functionality that is similar to VAJ's ENVY team support. The repository in VAJ lets you see quickly what is defined where, class hierarchies, references, etc. It is only indirectly related to versioning. As far as I know, VAJ is the only product that offers this support. I also understand that this support is responsible for VAJ's lengthy startup time and voracious appetite for memory. Check out the newly-released version 3.3 at www.netbeans.org. -- ____________________________________________________________ Glenn Holmer gholmer@weycogroup.com Programmer/Analyst phone: 414.908.1809 Weyco Group, Inc. fax: 414.908.1601
