Group, Like Joe, I presume that most AS/400 Java developers use the AS/400 toolkit. One of Java's drawing cards is that it is pretty much platform independent. We have been using several other open source projects in our development and for the most part they have been pretty easy to run on the iSeries but it usually required some adaptation. What other open source projects are others running and what is the best way to share the knowledge you have gained while getting those open source projects up and running on the AS/400? I posted my experiences with Cocoon on the iSeries-toolkit open source at: http://iseries-toolkit.sourceforge.net/cocoon.html I am not sure that is the best way to get the word out. In addition to Cocoon, we are using Struts, Tomcat, Ant, Xerces, Saxon, JDom, Xalan, Avalon, and the AS/400 Toolbox pretty extensively. We have also used James, JUnit, and JMeter to a lesser degree.
