I've received the following requirements list from one of my coworkers:

1. NT 4.0 SP6 Server (OS and box itself) on local office network with IP
access to AS/400 (Client/Access400 not required).
2. JDK 1.3.1 installed on that server (downloadable from Sun web site).
3. Tomcat 4.0 (Apache web server is not needed at this point)
(downloadable
from Jakarta web site).
4. JDBC drivers to access AS/400 database installed on NT server (come
from
AS/400 Toolbox for Java installed on AS/400).
5. AS/400 with AS/400 Toolbox for Java installed and configured.
6. Simple database (tables) to play with (to execute SELECT, UPDATE,
INSERT
statements and check out performance and overall behavior).

What I'd like to do is to make our AS400 an attractive alternative to an
NT-based solution. It's currently serving up email using the native SMTP,
and web pages using the IBM HTTP Server (NOT Powered by Apache), OS/400
V4R5 (SF99450 ordered).

1. I've ordered, and will install, the Group PTF for JDK 1.3.1.
2. What is Tomcat? Is it available for the 400? What do I need in order
to have it work?
