>WebFacing offers options for both: >- single point of maintenance for Java web and RPG application > with SOME customization of the web application >- generation of a Java web application that is maintained > separately from the RPG version for EXTENSIVE customization >requirements Hi Jim! We're looking hard at WebFacing (getting WebSphere installed is a bit of a hang-up, but that's a local problem). What I don't understand though, is how WebFacing will enable me to perform extensive modifications to the Java side separately from the RPG. If I have an application that consists of several modal displays (enter/validate customer, enter/validate shipping information, enter/validate items), WebFacing makes beans and jsps that match the layout. It has to, because that's the I/O buffer RPG is expecting. How can I make this into a single non-modal Java display without breaking the RPG? --buck
