You can also solve this issue by putting the latest JVM PTFs on your
system. I convinced the Java team that the Native JDBC driver should be
found by default when used.

An easy way is to make a symbolic link from the ext-directory to the file
db2_classes.jar:
/QIBM/UserData/Java400/ext/db2_classes.jar ->
/QIBM/ProdData/Java400/ext/db2_classes.jar
(I'm not shure if the path is correct, I don't have access to the as/400
right now).
Java 2 will always include the ext-directory to the class path.
javac -J-Djava.version=1.2 CreateDTWUser.java
CreateDTWUser.java:32: Class com.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver not found.
DriverManager.registerDriver(new
com.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver());
^
1 error
Where does the classpath come from using these settings ?
