Jace, I tried what you said and still no luck. I continually get the error - Must enter alphanumeric and underscore charactors only. I get this if I make no changes and just press apply. This is frustrating. Any more ideas? The exact configs and the WAS_CP environment variable are listed below: This is the way I had it at first: set WAS_CP=%WAS_HOME%\EFIX\pq49277.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\ibmwebas.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\properties set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\chart.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\ejs.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\ujc.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\repository.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\admin.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\servlet.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\servletconsole.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\tasks.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\console.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\vaprt.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\sslight.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\xml4j.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\web\help set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%JAVA_HOME%\lib\tools.jar Then I tried your way: set WAS_CP=%WAS_HOME%\lib\ibmwebas.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\properties set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\chart.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\ejs.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\ujc.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\repository.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\admin.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\servlet.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\servletconsole.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\tasks.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\console.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\vaprt.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\sslight.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\xml4j.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\web\help set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\efix\PQ49277.jar set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%JAVA_HOME%\lib\tools.jar This is what the WAS_CP env variable looks like in the top config: C:\WebSphere\AppServer\efix\PQ49277.jar;C:\WebSphere\AppServer\lib\ibmwebas. jar; C:\WebSphere\AppServer\properties;C:\WebSphere\AppServer\lib\chart.jar;C:\We bSph ere\AppServer\lib\ejs.jar;C:\WebSphere\AppServer\lib\ujc.jar;C:\WebSphere\Ap pSer ver\lib\repository.jar;C:\WebSphere\AppServer\lib\admin.jar;C:\WebSphere\App Serv er\lib\servlet.jar;C:\WebSphere\AppServer\lib\servletconsole.jar;C:\WebSpher e\Ap pServer\lib\tasks.jar;C:\WebSphere\AppServer\lib\console.jar;C:\WebSphere\Ap pSer ver\lib\vaprt.jar;C:\WebSphere\AppServer\lib\sslight.jar;C:\WebSphere\AppSer ver\ lib\xml4j.jar;C:\WebSphere\AppServer\web\help;C:\WebSphere\AppServer\jdk\lib \too ls.jar Steve Raisor ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jace A Barbera" <barbera@us.ibm.com> To: <JAVA400-L@midrange.com> Sent: Wednesday, August 15, 2001 12:53 PM Subject: Re: Websphere 3.5.4 > > Steve, > > After you enter the IP:Port, are you hitting 'Add" or 'Apply'?
