  • Subject: Tools for Managing WebSphere

A set of tools, in the form of AS/400 commands, for managing WebSphere
Application Server have been released under an Open Source license on
Ignite/400.

http://www.ignite400.org/html/opensource/was/index.htm

These tools provide commands for stopping and starting an application
server, among other things, which allows you to write your own programs and
procedures for managing WebSphere. For example, you might want to be able
to stop and start an Application Server instance during your nightly
backups.

If you are using WebSphere, check them out.

Thanks
