May i suggest to have a look at Cocoon.
It is an Open Source XML reporting tool, provided by Apache, can also use/support Java.
It is quite impressing, with a very good separation of the business
logic and the presentation.
Basically, you return all your business into an XML document, and you
specify dynamically how you want cocoon to handle this document (pdf, html,
wml, etc ...)
The presentation is done by processing the appropriate XSL file.
I use it for a private website, and intend to use it professionally.
You can find it at http://xml.apache.org
If you want to test it, i also suggest you to have a look at the www.w3c.org website,
for FOP documentation (Formatting Object Protocol), used to generate pdf.
Really interesting.

Subject: Java Reporting tools
I have been asked to begin researching java reporting tools for my
company and I would like to know what tools anyone could suggest looking
at? and What tools integrate well with Netbeans? Any help in this
matter is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
