3.5.2 and higher have significant performance improvements over 3.02
provided you are not running on a grossly underpowered AS/400. See teh
WebSpehre for iSeries web site for performance consideration and the
documentation (off same web site) for minimum hardware requirements.

Subject: WAS 3.0.2 Performances

We are using WAS 3.0.2

We plan to use WAS 3.5 after the next release of our web functionnalities.

At the moment we sometimes face very poor performances from WAS 3.0.2.
It is worst than a small pentium !!!

I suspect some impact from Entrust, but there might be something different.

Can anybody give me some links or adresses where i can find some good
tuning
information about WAS 3.0.2 on the AS400.

The redbooks doesn't tell a lot about that.

Many people says that WAS 3.5 is superior from far, but i can't admit that
a powerfull
AS400 has poor results, even if running WAS 3.0.2.

What is your experience about that?
