David, Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have observed that if I trap the error (using a Monmsg), it works fine. But it may not be possible to trap all the errors. Some errors cannot be predicted. So is there any thing I can do in such cases? Thanks, Suneetha. Your CL program should monitor for the error message and deal with it ... that way the program will not end in error. david -- | Internet: david@midrange.com | WWW: http://david.falling-rock.org | | Expect me when you see me. +--- | This is the JAVA/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to JAVA400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to JAVA400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to JAVA400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: joe@zappie.net +--- +--- | This is the JAVA/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to JAVA400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to JAVA400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to JAVA400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: joe@zappie.net +---
