V4R2 and V4R3 have a limit on the size of the associated java program (the one created with CRTJVAPGM) that goes with the jar. That limit was pretty small and we hit it with the v4r3 Toolbox jt400.jar file. The good news is that limit goes away in v4r4. There are still limits in v4r4 and following (for example, an object in the integrated file system can contain up to 2 gig minus 1 bytes (or is that 4 gig minus 1 byte), but they are big enough that reasonable jars won't run into them. Folks: I seem to remember that the 400 had limits on the size of jar files. Does JDK 1.2 (on the 400) still have such limits?
