Joe,

I checked today to see where the message comes from on a default (using the 
reference 
implementation)system.  In this case the ExceptionHandler class extends 
ServletWrapper 
and supplies a default page, nothing fancy.  I don't know how WAS handles this.

myself having to look in the stderr log for compile errors.  Anybody have
