Hi,
I can't seeme to get the correct time using a *locale object.
I am in the Mountain Time (GMT - 7.00) and the LC_COD section in my *locale object is as follows
LC_TOD
tzdiff -420
tname "<M><S><T>"
dstname "<M><D><T>"
dststart 3,1,7,0
dstend 10,1,7,0
dstshift 3600
END LC_TOD
The *locale is compiled with CCSID 37.
The sysvals are
QLOCALE *none
QUTCOFFSET -7.00
I am using the *locale object in my user profile. The time I am getting is 1 hr ahead of the local time. If, say local time is 4.00 p.m, the time returned is 5.00 pm. If I don't use the *locale object the time I am getting the GMT (7 hrs ahead of the local time). Also I noticed that whatever values I use for the parms like dstshift, tzdiff the time returned is alwyays 1 hr ahead of the local time.
What am I doing wrong. Any pointer will help.
Thanks.
-Amit
