Thanks for that Richard. I'll get something to you off-list. FYI, and for the sake of the archives: I also posted this question on IBM's PartnerWorld for Developers "Ask A Question" service. They responded by saying, essentially, "Yes, see your point, we don't have a fix on our database, take it up with your local defect support organization." Which is fair enough: logging error reports isn't their job; but how much easier life would be if they _could_ generate the error report and route it to the correct department within IBM. Also your response shows that informal channels of support can be more effective than formal ones. Thanks again.
