If I understand you correctly a simple call to "WRKMSGD MSGF(QSQLMSG)" on
an AS/400 command line does the trick. You can position to the error-code
in question. In your case it probably is SQL0204 ( "SQL", zero, two, zero, four
) aposed to SQLO204 ( "SQLO", two,
zero, four ).

How do I find the error message that goes along with an SQL error code?
I have a user reporting

and I am unable to reproduce the error myself.
