I would be interested in hearing about and seeing some examples of how people catch errors. Especially in servlets. I guess my main concern is if I have some beans or widgets that do some processing, if there is an error in them what is the best way to handle it? I more concerned about the null pointer exception errors and making debugging applications easier. I would assume that for servlets the best thing to do would be to log the error somehwere and display a polite error message. Danka!
