Boy, you just aren't much fun to talk to, Brad. From now on, I'll just ignore your posts, because while there is good information during some of our interaction, most of the time it's just oil and water. I apologize to the rest of the list for any portions of my statements that were unproductive. And as a closing comment, I didn't slam RPG programmers. As I said in my private email to you, in my experience as a teacher, RPG programmers have the hardest time understanding functions and procedures. In fact, non-programmers often get the concept quicker than RPG programmers, because we RPG folks didn't use procedures and parameters. And you'll note that both in this and my previous post, I include myself as "an RPG programmer" because that's what I started out in. When I moved from RPG and assembly language to C, the concept of a procedure was strange and different. +--- | This is the JAVA/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to JAVA400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to JAVA400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to JAVA400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: joe@zappie.net +---
