Runtime.exec("ls /qsys.lib/kulack.lib/qcsrc.file");

RuntimeExec is a little program that does just this and spits out the
output of the command using streams created with an ebcdic code page
"Cp037").
I can send it offline to anyone who wants it, but its pretty trivial.

From Qshell:
  /home/kulack >
> java RuntimeExec 'ls /qsys.lib/kulack.lib/qcsrc.file'
  OUTPUT: PSHARECOND.MBR
  OUTPUT: PTHEXCP.MBR
  OUTPUT: STAT.MBR
  OUTPUT: TRANS.MBR
  Done
  /home/kulack >
