× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

You must have a class called Connection in your class path somewhere.  If you 
define you field as java.sql.Connection conn = null; it should work.  You don't 
need to cast it with the DriverManager because there is no Class called 
DriverManager in your classpath, it will bring in the one from the java.sql 
package.
