Hi, I have made a solution for a client in which I registered a "plain" RPG program as a trigger program for the requested file. I sent the changed records to a data queue, where a java program then was able to read the the changes, by invoking the data queue read method(). If you want to interface this mechanism with java events, you make a class running on a thread which reads the data queue and fires events to listeners on a event list. Hope that it can be useful.
