Look in the folder where you installed the JDK (i.e. SDK). Look in the path
for /demo/jfc/swingset/swingset.jar for 1.2.2 or
/demo/jfc/swingset2/swingset2.jar for 1.3 . Doubleclick on the jar. It is a
demo for the swing classes. It shows examples of the various swing
components. What you are looking for is JTable. The source code is provided
so you can see how they coded the demo. 1.3 is better because the source is
easier to access as it is in a tabbed pane right in the demo.

Subject: Subfile equivalent

Hello all,
We have an application which monitors the status of
all the systems connected in the network, this uses
subfiles.
Now, instead of writing to the subfile, I need to
acces the PF and get the data on to a JAVA GUI on the
client.
Which is the best way I can do it.
I remember a discussion on subfile equivalent in JAVA,
recently. But dont remember what was the conclusion.
Could anybody help.
Thanx,
Rao
