It just hangs there, and displaying the correct data
import java.math.*;
import com.pbd.pub.jdb400.*;
public class Item
{
public static void main(String argv[]) {
String ItemNumber = argv[0];
Jdb400.setAS400("xxx.xxx.xx.xx "me", "meagain");
Jdb400KeyedFile PODETAIL = new Jdb400KeyedFile("LIB1/PMLPDQS1");
PODETAIL.SETLL(ItemNumber);
while (PODETAIL.READE(ItemNumber))
System.out.println(PODETAIL.getField("PDPOID"));
///*** the pogram just stops right here, (* it did display the coorect data *) Then I tried the PODETAIL.CLOSE(); that didn't work, so then I add the following lines of code, to see if it would look at some other data again, and that didn't work... ****/
PODETAIL.SETLL("ED-265-P");
while (PODETAIL.READE("ED-265-P"))
System.out.println(PODETAIL.getField("PDPOID"));
System.exit(0);
}
