Both the Native JDBC driver and the Toolbox JDBC driver do support the use of lobs. Note that lobs are new to the 400 via a v4r4 PTF. JDBC 2.0 is required to use LOBs directly. JDBC 2.0 is a part of JDK 1.2. JDK 1.2 was also added to v4r4 by PTF. Regards, Richard D.
