Madhavan, the only addition I'd make is that you should always
stick a %j in the name of the Jdbc trace file.
This will cause the file to be uniquely named with the fully
qualified Jobname replacing the %j.
This prevents lost/overwritten tracefiles.

For example
jdbc.db2.cli.trace=3
jdbc.db2.cli.trace.config=file:///home/fstewart/jdbctrace.%j.txt
