I am having trouble with the following statement in my java program: i am trying to use the record-level to access an AS400 file. // Step 1: // Connect to an AS/400 as400 = new AS400("localhost"); when i compile the java program in QSH, i get the error $ > javac /myjava/ListRecord.java /myjava/ListRecord.java:13: Class jt400.AS400 not found in type declaration. as400 = new AS400("localhost"); ^ 1 error $ i did the following addenvvar before the compile: Current QSH session ended. ADDENVVAR ENVVAR(classpath) VALUE('/QIBM/ProdData/HTTP/Public/jt400/lib/j t400.zip') (the AS400.class is in the jt400.zip file) i am not sure about this import statement in my java program: import com.ibm.as400.access.*; when i look in the access folder, it is empty.......should there be something in access? zip files or jar files for the AS400.class... any help would be appreciated....this is my first attempt of a java program on the as400, accessing an as400 file wanda cummings cummings@ae.com +--- | This is the JAVA/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to JAVA400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to JAVA400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to JAVA400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: joe@zappie.net +---
