Possible workaround: Try using a meta tag in your index.html file to redirect the browser to index.jsp index.html should look like this: <HTML> <meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="0; URL=index.jsp"> </HTML> Any previous links to index.html will now go to the new JSP file. We want the welcome page to be a jsp page (e.g., index.jsp instead of index.htm). However, the As/400 HTTP server does not pass it to websphere to process. Instead the user is prompted to save a ".jsp" file.... is this a bug in the HTTP Server? How do we get around this? luther.miller (at) HYPERe.com +--- | This is the JAVA/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to JAVA400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to JAVA400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to JAVA400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: joe@zappie.net +---
