Assuming you are talking about a JDBC driver for MS SQL Server... any pure JDBC driver should be able to be put onto the 400 and run from there to access SQL Server. We did a test like this with an Oracle JDBC driver once (run to an Oracle database and pumped the data out to the 400 database) and it was pretty straight forward. Java is, afterall, java... and you can run it on just about an JVM you want. But no JDBC driver is specifically shipped with the system to do this sort of work. Regards, Richard D.
