running applet on as/400 -- JAVA400-L

we are doing some database work using java and AS/400, we are able to 
retrive recods to , standard system output and usin frames, when we try to 
check it on appletviewer , we are getting security exceptions,
can we run appletviewer usin as/400 toolkit for java, can we access data 
thru applets on remote browsers
can somebody help us out
