Richard, If you are running VAJ Enterprise (either 2.1 or 3.0), you can load the Websphere test environment into VAJ. This will let you run your servlets or jsps on your pc from within the VAJ IDE. I installed the enterprise update for VAJ 2.0 after rollup 2 and was running servlets on my pc within an hour, so it is pretty easy. VADD also has an article on using VAJ to debug servlets and jsp's that are running on a websphere server not residing on your pc (on your as/400 for example). I am working on this right now since I very much want to use the VAJ debugger to debug jsp's running on my as/400. Jsp's are a real pain to debug.
