Title: Mapping object to tables
Sorry for this, i found the answer by myself.

VAJ can recognize a key field only on files with primary key constraints.

If your file has no primary key constraint an error message appear.
What you have to do is to edit your table in your shema and say what column is the
primary key.
You can then do your mapping

Subject: Mapping object to tables

Hi all,

I'm using vaj3 and testing the mapping between EJB objects to database tables.

When i do my mapping i always have the same error message:

Validation error in VapTable(PEACBL00), the error is: 'empty key descriptor'

When i map my (EJB object) primaryKey to the key column of the table i have
a similar problem:

'OID property is mapped to non-key column: a column(ACCOUNTNUMBER) (VapJDBCDataType(DECIMAL(7, 0))))'

When i go to the rpg program i can see that the field ACCOUNTNUMBER is described as a key.

Do you have any idea about it?

Remark: in the guide it is written to use the db2 driver: db2java.zip

The problem is that i cannot find this driver on my machine (not installed?).
Is it the source of my problems?

Thanks

Gilles
