Modification 2 of the Toolbox is built on the old swing package name
(com.sun.java.swing). To use the vaccess classes of Toolbox mod 2 you
need the old swing package (java 1.1.x with Swing 1.0.3).

Modification 3 of the Toolbox supports the new swing package name
(javax.swing). To use the vaccess classes of Toolbox mod 3, you need Java
2 (which includes swing 1.1) or java 1.1.x plus Swing 1.1. A beta test
version of Toolbox mod 3 is available off the toolbox home page
(http://www.ibm.com/as400/toolbox).

So, you need to move up to Toolbox mod 3 or stay with Toolbox mod 2 and use
java 1.1.x with Swing 1.0.3.

Subject: visuall access of toolbox

Hey,

I'm trying to test the visuall access classes of the
toolbox using the sqlquerybuilder example.

Configuration:

jdk1.2
Swing version 1.1
Tool box mod 2

All in classpath.

Problem:

The program will not compile giving
com.sun.java.swing.Jcomponent not found in class
com.ibm.as400.vaccess.sqlquerybuilder.

Can someone show me my mistake ?

TIA
