Java 2 For The AS/400 Is Now Available

The Java 1.2 virtual machine (also known as Java 2) is now available for the
AS/400.  If you have OS/400 V4R4M0 installed on your AS/400, you can install a
group PTF that contains the Java 1.2 JVM.  This JVM does not replace your
existing AS/400 JVM.  It adds another JVM for you to choose from when running
Java programs on your AS/400.  For more information check out

AS/400 Toolbox for Java users -- the Toolbox classes require PTF 5769SS1 SF59310
to function correctly under the AS/400's Java 1.2 JVM.  At this time this PTF is
not a member of the group PTF so it must be ordered separately.
