If you are familiar with RPG, you might check out the book "Java for RPG Programmers". Other than that, I suggest using VisualAge for Java or JBuilder/400 (comes with examples). http://www.borland.com For learning Java in general, read Bruce Eckel's book, "Thinking in Java".
