I'd like to return to some questions I asked a while back:

1) When a method is called on an RMI server program on an AS/400
(V4R2), does the '400 start a new thread or process for it?

2) If an RMI method is called again before the first call has
completed, what are the implications? Does the "synchronized"
keyword have any bearing on this?

3) Is the message "Cursor SQLCURSOR000000009 already open.?" a
symptom of (2)? The program uses PreparedStatement's.
