I'd like to return to some questions I asked a while back: 1) When a method is called on an RMI server program on an AS/400 (V4R2), does the '400 start a new thread or process for it? 2) If an RMI method is called again before the first call has completed, what are the implications? Does the "synchronized" keyword have any bearing on this? 3) Is the message "Cursor SQLCURSOR000000009 already open.?" a symptom of (2)? The program uses PreparedStatement's. -- ____________________________________________________________ Glenn Holmer firstname.lastname@example.org Programmer/Analyst phone: 414.908.1809 Weyco Group, Inc. fax: 414.908.1601 +--- | This is the JAVA/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to JAVA400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to JAVA400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to JAVA400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: email@example.com +---
