The pre-release version of JAO/400 (Java Application Objects for the AS/400) is available. Go to http://www.zappie.net/Java/Techniques/JAO400/jao400-100-p.htm/ to see details on the new package. Included in the free download is a Java File Utility (JFU) program which will allow you to list records for any AS/400 file in a list box, and view the details by double-clicking on rows in the list. The JFUList program is only 123 lines of Java code, the JFUView class is only 94.
