Sorry I'm a little late responding but I've been on vacation. (Nice little
flurry of activity here while I was gone!)

I subscribed a few months ago just to try and learn something about Java, not
necessarily Java on the AS400.

It appears there are some on the list (like me) just learning Java, while
there are some who are actually doing development work. So here's my first
question: I know this list is SUPPOSED to be about Java on the AS400, but since
traffic here is currently very light, would anyone object to very general
and/or basic Java questions being asked here?

Subject: Java questions

I have two questions. First, there seems to be very little activity on

this java mail list. Could anyone who subscribes to this list identify
yourself. I promise I won't start mailing you questions. I just want to
find out how many people are out there listening.
