Hi all.

Is it possible to have a JSF Date field display on a web page as blank.
Normaly it defaults to todays date.

I have tryed to default my date field to null but that did not work.

Can this be done?

Thanks

Nick,

Try declaring your date field as null capable by appending a question
mark to the date data type and then set your date field to null.
Something like the following...

myDate date? {dateFormat = "yyyy/MM/dd"};

function onConstruction()
myDate = null;
end
