Our users log on to a Windows Active Directory (AD) domain. When they open an iSeries Access 5250 session, ODBC connection or NetServer share, EIM automatically authenticates them against AD and maps them to the appropriate iSeries user profile. Our iSeries-based Apache server is also set up to use EIM.

I have been unable to get our WebSphere Application Server 6.1 configured for EIM. Before we pay a consultant to help use configure WAS, I need to make sure that EGL can do EIM (since EGL is the only reason we installed WAS).
Okay, good, that's the specifics. Now the question is whether Apache will pass the EIM credentials to WebSphere and then in turn whether EGL can pass those credentials to the toolbox. My gut hunch is that no, it's not yet enabled, but let me try to get more information.
