We are a dyed-in-the-wool RPG shop and our business logic will remain in RPG. EGL looks like a promising UI. The RPG integration is superb, especially the persistent connections available in 7.1.

The only question that we have now is whether EGL is compatible with IBM's Enterprise Identity Management (EIM) single-signon. I put that question to Jon Sayles and I am waiting for an answer, although I have not quite got WAS configured for use with EIM.
