We do a lot of monitoring with Domino. We consume a lot of the SQL Services at:
https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/1119123

In Domino you really have to pay attention to the variable types. For example this statement
select server_share_name, path_name, text_description
from qsys2.server_share_info
where share_type='FILE'
order by server_share_name asc;
is a sure fire way to initiate a Domino server restart if you do not have the right variable type for path_name. It is a CLOB.

Changing it to
select server_share_name, cast(path_name as varchar(255)), text_description
from qsys2.server_share_info
where share_type='FILE'
order by server_share_name asc;
fixed it.

Nice of IBM not to say "not my problem, call HCL" and help me through this. Took a lot of special tracing especially since this Domino server runs on one lpar and this query was against another. HCL on the other hand basically said:
"As for your concern we do not support the IBMi code what we need you to do is open a ticket on IBM support regarding the bad code that is crashing the server."
