It's more of a "defence in depth" issue. We filter everything through
Message Labs. It took years for anything to get through that. Years.
Then we've been hit a few times recently.
One just knows there's always the risk of being the "first person". We've
went through the labor of reporting these to Message Labs and soon they've
shot out an email to everyone similar to "a few customers have noticed one
got through". You can configure who gets those emails. We made it an
address like xysyso at dekk0 dot com and assigned that address to a Domino
group. And put people in that group. What we haven't done is told them
what should be done upon receipt of that email.

We have 508 databases in the mail directory.

Yes it may be "make work". It may also be "we have to appear to be doing
'something'".

We may end up replicating everything to Windows just so we can run a
database scan after the pattern file gets updated.
