Sametime in the cloud doesn't have public groups? Are you kidding me?

The official documentation says that Sametime 9.0.1 is supported on IBM i
7.3.
http://www.ibm.com/systems/i/software/domino/pdf/releasesupport.pdf
We gave up on running Sametime on IBM i when we could not get one official
reference from IBM in over a years time.
When we moved from Sametime 8.x we went to Sametime 9 on Windows.
We're moving to the cloud. We're already using IBM's Cloud for Sametime
meetings. As soon (if ever) they get public groups then we'll move IM to
that also.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for sharing this information to me.
You need Domino 901FP6 to support IBM i 7.3, AND Domino 901 FP6 requires
Java 1.8 on IBM i 7.3 and requires Java 1.6 on IBM i 7.2 and earlier
releases.
Best Regards

Domino 901FP6 is a cluster ...
901FP6 is supposed to be the version you need for IBM i 7.3.
IBM i 7.3 does not support Java 6
So, before I upgraded to IBM i 7.3 I thought I'd try it without Java 6.
This is the exact same test I used with IBM earlier to try to get 901FP5
working.
Still fails...
Opened Sev 1 system down ticket with IBM. 54582,082,000.
