The Notes 9 client has the Sametime 8.5.2 Client embedded (since Sametime
9.0 wasn't released when Notes 9.0 was...)

Here's *the* Technote on it, though it leaves out the 9.0 Notes client...
Yep...

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21370003

But in Notes, go to File > Application > Application Management and expand
the ibm\lotus\notes\framework\shared\eclipse one section then scroll down
to Sametime Chat Feature and you'll see it's 8.5.2

Or you can go to Help > About IBM Notes > Feature Details and check for
Sametime.

Installed ST 9 community server a few weeks ago. Rolled back with a
backup tape after a week. My server was not stable.

Documentation for ST 9 is problematic.

No migration path to 9 because it's all WAS 8.5 as opposed to WAS 7 for
Sametime 8.5.2. It's a full build from scratch.

Can I get some references of people using Sametime 9 on IBM i?
