Question being, why don't I just take the "add exception" and go on?

Yes, I believe one of those steps will work. But, how many people will you
actually have administering the System Console?

How does one add a certificate for Sametime System Console to avoid
everyone adding an exception when opening up the browser?
sscsametime02.dekko.com:9043 uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is not
trusted.
(Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)
