I have several folders in my mail file that I rarely reference. To ease
navigation I decided to move the documents from the mail file into the
corresponding folder in my archive, and then I deleted the folder from my
mail file. All the while I was wondering whether or not the next scheduled
archive would leave the folders and/or documents moved to the archive in
tact. Then I found the following on the Domino 8 forum. In essence it
states that archiving may behave like replication.

As a result of the above I decided to create a copy of my archive just in
case.

My server is 8.0.2 FP5 and client is 8.0.2 FP6. Hopefully I won't have to
spend Monday copying documents back into my mail file to recover them.
